About the Author
Les C. Wicker is currently the senior minister of Delavan United Church of Christ in Delavan, Wisconsin. He previously served congregations in Florida and North Carolina. A member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Wicker received his Ph.D. with a specialization in Marriage and the Family from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is also a graduate of Greensboro College (B.A.) and Duke University Divinity School (M.Div.).

Pastors Need Resources

With the number of divorces in our country, every minister of a local Church needs resources with which to help couples look at their upcoming marriage. Les Wicker has written a helpful book and guide for pastors and couples. I commend it those who care enough to sit down with couples and talk, not just about the wedding service, but about preparing for a life of commitment, giving, forgiving, honoring, and focusing more on the head, heart, and faith fo person to whom you will be married, instead of the color of the flowers for the wedding. It is an excellent resource !

About the Author
Ben Carter (Guildford, England) has been writing about the games industry and other topics since 1995. His articles have appeared in magazines and newspapers, including Edge, Super Play, The Irish Times, G4 Ireland, Manga Max, Game Developer, Develop, and CTW. He has also contributed to the Eurogamer Web site and was a speaker at ECTS/GDC Europe 2003. Pete takes us through identifying both our good and bad habits, how they affect us and replacing bad habits with new success habits. Next we begin to build our 1-3-5 Action Plan, starting with creating our Vision for our future lives, dividing this into 3 Core Objectives for this Vison, then working out 5 Goals for each Core Objective which will move us closer towards our Vision.

The next part of the book focuses on developing 4 key success skils- Leadership, Personal Organisation, Relationship building and Key Strength Development. Finally, he ends with a 7 step plan we can utilise to create an awesome next 12 months achieving our objectives. There are exercises throughout the book to help us dig deep and really understand what we want and what it will take to get it, along with lots of useful insight and information.

Well worth a read for any budding entrepreneur or anyone aspiring to create a rich and fulfilling life for themselves and their family.

This is a well written book. It's in the genre about personal achievement. This one is very good at getting your goals and the steps towards achieving them as specific as possible...so you will take action on them. His writing is clear, brief and with good examples. There is a website with supporting materials on it.
