Why not give this guy a Nobel? Oh, yeah, that's right, he was ignored in his own time.

This is the most important book ever written by any psychologist, although Dr. Gray would doubtless prefer to be remembered as a poly-glot and linguist. In the Nobel Prize eligible chapter 6, "An excursion into social biology: fear and sex", he did a survey of the work of population and stress researchers and was the first (in his first edition in 1971) to hypothesize that the Selyean GAS (the original version of stress physiology) was, after-all, a population "density-stat". Then, he goes on to offer strong evidence to support his contention. This brilliant kernel is the central focus of my 300pg. book "STRESS R US", which can be found as a free e-book on the net by just googling the title.
